Cellulose Ether Adhesive

Usually used for bookbinding and during specific procedures of artwork restoration. Thus they are not only used as adhesives when mending tears and infilling loses but also as gel for cataplasms. It is also used combined with Japanese paper during the mounting process to hinge or mat artworks in order to frame them for storage or exhibition. Completely reversible with water, the different types of cellulose ether have their own specific features.
